We moved to Nebraska last summer so Lincoln could start law school. We were very settled in our community in Greeley. That’s where we went to college, where we’d gone to church for several years, and where we got married. But God was definitely calling us to move out of Colorado, so we obeyed. There were many things we were going to miss, but the greatest was our church and small group. I remember the first week we moved we were driving through the city, surrounded by people, yet feeling lonely and homesick.
God quickly provided, though. Sower Church was our fourth visit on a church-shopping tour, and right away we knew we wanted to come back. We were welcomed into a small group of other young couples, and after a few weeks, we excitedly realized that we made friends!
Through this move, we have learned so much about God’s faithfulness. He so quickly provided us a community in which we can be encouraged, be challenged, and grow in godliness. We are thankful for the role Sower Church has played in God’s provision, and we can confidently look toward the future knowing our Father is faithful.
